YOLO! 3 TV Episodes Featuring Spontaneous Road Trips

Parks and Rec Road Trip Grand Canyon

Last weekend I drove from New Jersey to Indianapolis and back to see Penn State play in the Big Ten Championship game. It wasn’t something I initially planned to do, but after I was able to get my hands on some reasonably priced tickets and was offered a couch to sleep on by some friends in Ohio, I couldn’t pass up the opportunity. So in less than a week I went from browsing StubHub to driving over 1,400 miles for a football game.

Snacks for Your Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life Binge Watch

Gilmore Girls Nextflix Revival

Over the course of Gilmore Girls 153-episode run, Lorelai and Rory watch a ton of movies and consume an inordinate amount of snack food. Occasionally they do both at the same time. And for me, the one episode that most epitomizes their love for both is season one’s “Kiss and Tell” (1×7).

MTV’s Sweet/Vicious Is The Superhero Duo We Need

Sweet/Vicious on MTV

MTV’s newest scripted series Sweet/Vicious debuts Tuesday November 15th at 10pm; however, the first three episodes are currently available online at MTV.com and OnDemand via your cable provider. Never one to turn down a chance to preview a series early, I binged all three over the weekend. I liked what I saw, it’s like Kick-Ass meets Veronica Mars, but I imagine most viewers will know whether it’s their jam or not based on the premise alone.

SNL Clinton Trump Debate 2016

This Presidential Election has been rather divisive, but I think we can all agree on one thing – it needs to be over. So after you cast your vote on Tuesday, why not take your mind off things with some TV. No, I’m not recommending you watch the 24-hour news cycle, I recommend checking out these election day-inspired episodes.

It’s the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown Turns 50!

It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown

I love Halloween. It’s one of my favorite holidays, has been since I was a kid. Some of my fondest memories are coming home from a long afternoon of trick-or-treating and putting on It’s the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown while my brother and I sat on the floor sorting, trading, and eating our latest haul of candy.

Favorite Emmy Category: Outstanding Main Title Design

Favorite Emmy Category: Outstanding Main Title Design

2016 Emmy Awards

I love TV, but I don’t love the Emmy Awards. Not only is the telecast way too long but the awards are generally predictable and repetitive. There’s a lot of things about them I’d change if I could: I’d love to see broadcast and cable shows split into two separate categories, I wish actors could only win once for every role, and as always it would be nice if more shows were recognized. However, there is one category that I can get behind – Outstanding Main Title Design.

NBC’s Blindspot & Practicing Patience with New TV Shows

Blindspot Season 2

Not a lot of freshman shows piqued my interest last fall but NBC’s Blindspot and ABC’s Quantico seemed interesting enough. However, I’ve been trying to be more selective when it comes to adding more TV shows to my watch list, so I opted for Blindspot since I recognized Jaimie Alexander from the MCU and she’s a total badass.
