It’s the end of another the calendar year, which means it’s time for another “Best of” list! As always, I can’t watch everything on TV so the picks below are based solely on my viewing habits and undoubtedly leave out some stellar tv shows and moments. But enough with the obligatory disclaimer, here’s my completely arbitrary picks for the best TV of 2017.
It’s the eve of Stranger Things season two, which means it’s time to fire up the waffle iron (or toaster) for the upcoming Netflix marathon session. Want to keep it easy, pop an Eggo waffle in the toaster and hit play, want to step up your snack game? Here’s a handful of recipes to try in between episodes.
“Peak TV” is not a myth. There’s a lot of damn fine shows to watch essentially all year round these days, which makes selecting these superlatives both easier and more difficult. I obviously can only watch so much, so there’s a hundred percent chance I’ve missed something or somethings. Thankfully the list below is completely subjective and doesn’t actually matter. So without further ado, here’s my picks for the best of 2016.
Just as word-of-mouth and social media buzz for Netflix’s newest series Stranger Things was picking up I was blessed with a rainy summer weekend allowing me to marathon the show guilt-free. And boy was it a satisfying marathon. With just eight episodes it was not only an easy watch but also a tight story with well developed characters and little filler.

The way I see it, you’ve got two angles to approach a TV-themed Halloween costume. Either pick something so mainstream it’s impossible not to know what you are or pick something that looks cool without context but will be recognized by other fans.
