If you’re a fan of reality competitions, particularly of the singing and dancing variety, might I suggest Lip Sync Battle. Even if you don’t normally find yourself attracted to those kind of shows, or reality TV in general, I still recommend Lip Sync Battle. Here’s three reasons why you should tune in, or at the very least visit the show’s YouTube channel.
It’s Fun
Everyone from LL Cool J and Chrissy Teigen to the audience and celebrity contestants appear to be having a blast. No one takes themselves too seriously, or pretends to be too cool for the proceedings. It’s all fun and games… with some good old fashioned head-to-head competition. Plus, the show doesn’t skimp on props, costumes, or even guest stars.
Actual ‘Stars’
Unlike Dancing with the Stars and Celebrity Apprentice, Lip Sync Battle actually boasts people you’ve heard over. Past contestants include Anna Kendrick, Terry Crews, Dwayne Johnson, Anne Hathaway, Michael Strahan, Queen Latifah, Justin Bieber, Channing Tatum, Joseph Gordon Levitt, and more.
Little Time Commitment
Watch every episode or just the ones with names that pique your interest, either way works thanks to Lip Sync Battle‘s stand-alone nature. Plus, most episodes are only 22-mins and feature four performances. Compared to other reality competitions with performance and result shows, Lip Sync Battle is practically filler-free.
