Happy Endings

Happy Endings

Good news Happy Endings fans, seems like the TV universe as a whole is finally realizing how awesome the entire cast is, because everyone one of them is bringing the laughs to either a veteran, freshman, or coming-soon comedy!

Most of the shows oddly air on Tuesday nights though, so get those DVRs ready and keep your Happy Endings DVDs handy for the other six nights of the week.

Adam Pally – The Mindy ProjectThe Mindy Project

Tuesdays on FOX 9:30pm

First Appearance: Season 2 Episode 3 “Music Festival”

Pally plays Dr. Peter Prentice, a former frat-boy who’s now a gynecologist at the office.

Damon Wayans Jr. – New GirlNew Girl Cast

Tuesdays on FOX 9:00pm

Coach famously appeared in the “Pilot” episode of New Girl, but then season 2 of Happy Endings happened (thankfully) and his character was quickly written out. Coach later returns in the aptly titled episode “Coach” in season 3 episode 7.

Casey Wilson – Marry MeNBC Marry Me

Tuesdays on NBC 9:00pm

Marry Me just premiered earlier this week so do yourself a favor and find it OnDemand or visit NBC.com or Hulu.com to catch up. Wilson plays Annie, a character not too far off from the Penny Hartz we all know and loved.

David Caspe is also the creator, so yeah, it’s got that going for it too.

Eliza Coupe – BenchedUSA Network Benched

Tuesdays on USA Network 10:30pm

Eliza Coupe absolutely kills it playing type-A, slightly unhinged (in a good way) characters and from what I’ve seen, her newest character, lawyer Nina Whitley will follow suit. Bring it on!

*Series Premiers October 28th*

Elisha Cuthbert – One Big HappyOne Big Happy NBC

Coming Soon to NBC

Besides a small ‘about’ blurb and cast list, not too much is known about this series, not even the premier date. Ellen DeGeneres is the Executive Producer though, so that’s cool.

Hey, remember the time Alex channeled Ellen DeGeneres in the episode “Big White Lies” (2×20)?

Zachary Knight – Weird LonersFOX Weird Loners

Coming Soon to FOX

Like One Big HappyWeird Loners is in that strange TV limbo land of coming soon but not yet, so there’s nothing really to see. FOX’s website helpfully explains that the series is about four ‘relationship-challenged’ 30-somethings living in Queens, NY.

One can only hope there will be more v-neck t-shirts in Zachary Knight’s future.
