My Favorite Music Scenes From TV In 2013

Parks And Rec Time after Time

Parks And Rec Time after Time

In honor of the Grammy awards, I’ve compiled a short list of my favorite music-related scenes from the past season of television. Enjoy these memorable musical moments from 2013.

Happy Endings – Country Club Tennis Match

Episode: “Deuce Babylove 2: Electric Babydeuce” (3×22)
Song: “Playing With the Boys” by Kenny Loggins

It’s not so much about the song itself, but how it’s used; excellent ‘punch line’ as usual for Happy Endings.

Parks and Recreation – Donna, Ann, & April Sing

Episode: “Bailout” (5×16)
Song: “Time After Time”

April’s right, everyone knows this song, and it is amazing.

Awkward. – Season 3 Ending

Episode: “Who I Want To Be” (3×20)
Song: “Moth’s Wings” by Passion Pit

Not only do I love this song, and Jenna’s final voice-over, but it was also used in the final scene of the pilot. Nice callback show, well played.

Orphan Black – Helena Dancing

Episode: “Parts Developed in an Unusual Manner” (1×7)
Song: “Bass Up Treble” by Xtra Testosterone

This scene is more memorable for the WTF moment than the actual song itself, but that’s okay.

*Bonus Musical Moment* – Hannibal  Season 2 Promos

NBC is really killing it (pun intended) with these trailers for the upcoming season of Hannibal.

So what were your favorite musical TV moments of 2013? Feel free to share them in the comments below.
